This family-friendly event will feature a panel discussion by the team that wrote, illustrated and designed THE POINT 25 Years! book.
Join us at main campus in Hunts Point and to hear how Rachelle Fernandez, Maria “Mariposa” Fernandez, Eric Orr, & Aurash Khawarzad and others worked together to bring the vibrant mission of THE POINT CDC to life in a publication that captures our work from 1994-2019.
Guests will learn about the process and inspiration behind the writing of the book, the importance of not only preserving our own stories but also our history of self-publishing our own media, and other related topics.
